A Practical and Ethical Chiropractic Office For All Your Wellness

and Sports Injury Needs

We are a sports injury clinic that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of most sports related injuries.  The most common injuries we treat are plantar fasciitis, Morton's Neuroma, Metatarsalgia, heel pain, arch pain, achilles tendonitis, shin splints, runners knee, jumpers knee, patella tendonitis, iliotibial band syndrome, mcl sprains, medial meniscus tears, muscle strains, hip pointers, hip bursitis, piriformis syndrome, low back pain, bulging discs, shoulder pain, rotator cuff weakness, shoulder instablity, biceps tendonitis, tennis elbow, lateral epicondylitis, little league elbow, medial epicondylitis, wrist sprains and other hand conditions.

How can they specialize in all of those conditions?  "A muscle is a muscle and a joint is a joint.  If you undersand anatomy, biomechanics and sport you come to realize many of these conditions can be treated and fixed in similar ways.  Also if you have a love of the sports and actually particpate in them then you get a much better grip of how and why these injuries occur.  With this insight you are able to help modify the athletes program and return them to their sport quickly instead of telling them their season is over or at least done for  4-6 weeks.  I have been a weightlifter my entire life, played baseball and football through highschool and have been running everything from marathons to 100 mile ultramarathons now for 7 years.  By participating in these sports I have intimate knowledge of why these injuries occur and know how to get athlets back in action quick.  If I don't know then I learn.  For example, Cross-Fit is a new workout regimen taking San Diego by storm.  It involves alot of heavy lifting and ballistic movements.  Lately I have had Cross-Fit athletes come to me for help with their injury.  Not being familiar with their sport I joined a Cross-Fit gym to see how and why these athletes are getting hurt.  How many doctors would do that?"
